EXPLORING UNITY IN COMMUNITY THROUGH HEART-CENTRED LIVING

The vision and mission of HeArt Space CommUnity Centre is to co-create meaningful and uplifting interactions within the community in which everyone is welcome to participate without social, economic or cultural differences prohibiting such connections.

Instead of segregation and separation we invite co-operation and integration – inviting all members of the community to participate in uplifting activities and healing experiences alongside each other, encouraging a sense of unity in community.

We believe that by providing a platform for heart-to-heart connections within community we are able to heal the wounds within society by uplifting and empowering the individual.

EXPLORING COMPLIMENTARY CURRENCIES AND MULTI-OPTIONAL EXCHANGE SYSTEMS

In exploring ways to integrate our vision of Unity in Community within practical exchanges in the space, we discovered that options create opportunity. By providing a variety of options for exchange we provide a variety of opportunities for community to unite in interaction without economic differences segregating anyone.

THE PAY-WHAT-FEELS-GOOD APPROACH: INVITING PRO-ACTIVE EXCHANGE

This approach allows for individuals to hold an active role in the  valuing process within exchange.

It is an invitation, asking that our attendance is accompanied by a feeling-good-about-the-exchange.

TALENT EXCHANGE

The Talent Exchange is an initiative of the Community Exchange System in which individuals and organizations trade with other individuals and organizations with a user-created virtual currency called Talents.

A range of goods and services are available for Talents at HeArt Space.

BALANCING RANDS AND TALENTS

HeArt Space also offers a range of goods and services for part Rands and part Talents as well as Rands only.

HEART SPACE SCHOLARSHIPS

HeArt space provides scholarships for a range of services offered at the space.
