Breath Water Sound :The Power We Hold.

If given the means to see clearly, people have the vision to do something positive in their own lives and their communities. They also have the energy to translate their vision into action.

Breath Water Sound is a free workshop that teaches  simple yet powerful breathing, sound and meditation techniques which eliminate stress from the system so that the mind gains the clarity to solve problems. Most importantly, the course reminds communities of the power each individual has within, to make a difference and to be the change that they wish to see.

” The course is a truely unbelievable experience made up of many
touching memories. It had never occured to me how powerful my breathing is. All in all what i got out of this course surpassed my initial expectations by miles.”  BWS Participant.

The course gave me much more than I expected. I was able to feel free and relaxed. I was able to find some peace where I had none. I had a feeling of peace, greater awareness, and relaxation: something I didn’t think I would feel again.”
Anonymous woman, Whitney Bank

“It’s hard to explain because I got so much out of it. I just feel joy… peace!!”
~ Missy, Gallery Manager

“I am so blessed to have been able to take the Breath Water Sound workshop.  It has helped me to release old emotions from traumas I experienced as a child. I haven’t missed a day of doing the breathing.  I feel much calmer after I’m through.  I am so grateful for all your support and this class.”
~M.A, Metairie

“I feel so much energy. I would always take naps in the afternoon, or wasn’t sleeping well at night. But after this course, I feel no need to take a nap. And I sleep better at night.”
~ Charu, student

“(The Course) allowed me to release a lot of stress and chaos that I was feeling prior to that. It just allowed me personally to go really deep within myself, and it was very peaceful and serene and relaxing.”
~ Kelly, waitress

“We’re getting stronger by the day because of people like you. I can’t thank you enough.”

OUR WORK

Our Approach: The three Pillars of IAHV

  • Human Development Programmes aimed at uplifting the individual spirit
  • Socio-economic Development Projects aimed at sustainable solution
  • Forum for Dialogues to create and leverage on

Nurturing and uplifting basic human values, such as compassion, friendliness and service form the foundation of IAHV’s global activities. We believe that unless the individual’s spirit is lifted, one cannot be an instrument for positive change in society. Moreover, social and economic development must have human development at the core of its planning and conception. It must seek towards nurturing the community spirit. Only then development will be sustainable. Furthermore policy making and planning agencies must continuously be in conversation with human and social factors for true sustainability. IAHV follows a unique three pronged approach in its action plan towards the goal of uplifting communities .
